CAI RIVER KAYAKING SAFARI

From 9 Am to 3:30 Pm

We provide everything. Trained guides, Food, Water, Dry bags, Transport to and from River! You provide a hat, sun block & positive attitude!

9.00 –  Pick up the guests at the hotel and transfer to Khanh Vinh, the Cai Valley to begin your Eco Rafting Adventure. It only takes an hour to reach the starting point.

10.30 – Our guides prepare the boats, then into the river and Blast off! The adventure begins. You will spend between 4 to 5 hours running the river There is no paddling! the current does the work, and soon you hit the first major rapid system ‘Thaos Fall’, a class 2/3 rapid / fall depending on the time of the year. Now you travel further down the river. The current will push the kayak so enjoy the views in between the smaller class 1 & 2 rapids. In the quiet sections of the river just lie back and enjoy the view, let the kayak slowly spin you round so you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains. Now you are surrounded by Forest so look out for exotic birds.

12.30 After that we stop for picnic lunch in a fruit orchard; our guides will prepare a BBQ, enjoy and ice cold beer with some local farmers, pick fresh fruit in the orchard.

2.30 Back in the boats Next is the big class 3 rapid system ‘Touns Tumbler’. This rapid tumbles all year around; its very exciting to run. You are now on the final section of the river, have a water fight, swim or race to the finish point!

3.30 At the Pull out point enjoy a celebratory drink whilst the guides pack up the gear, then its back to the Nha Trang!
